As we write, say, even think the Number of a particular month, its influence of energy returns to us from the Universe. Perhaps not in a blatant way but be on alert for the subtle influence of each month’s themes.
As we move into the energy of September, our ninth calendar month of the year, even Mother Earth knows it is a time to let go of aspects of Nature. The Number Nine is a Number of completions. This energy sounds a bugle call that it is “all over but the shouting”!
The energy of September is about letting things go, finishing projects, getting ready for the energy of new starts in October. Interestingly, folks can become “housecleaning fools” under the Nine energy… letting go of people, places and objects found throughout the house and their lives. September can bring a huge influx of merchandise to the doors of thrift shops and Goodwill stores.
The energy of the Number Nine is about humanitarianism, service, teaching, wisdom and going within to find one’s answers in life. I call this Number the “Mother Therese Number” as it is about caring and selfless service without any prejudice. This Number Nine influence brings forth all the energies of compassion, philanthropy and tolerance. Don’t’ be surprised if you find yourself focusing on some humanitarian venture in the month of September.
In the ancient Tarot, the Number Nine is the Hermit card…the answers are within as he (our Higher Selves) holds the lighted lantern to show us the way. Those souls that have the Number Nine in one of their core Numbers Numerological or even have it as part of their Birthday Number, find themselves as shamans, teachers, wisdom givers to others. The Number Nine energy is like a magnetic force that draws folks to them who wish to receive comfort and guidance that they need in the moment. Then, having been strengthened, souls move forward refreshed and renewed by the experience shared with them by the Number Nine.
On a lighter side, September can bring forth very domestic feelings that may pop up in your psyche creating a desire to entertain all your friends, cook and/or bake yummy foods to share, redecorate parts of your home and just plain getting ready to hibernate for another few months.
Since we humans, as well as Mother Nature, move in patterns, it is important to know that the Number Nine is not energy of permanence. When our Personal life pattern of nine-year cycles arrives, people have a tendency to pass through our lives. If a person is in a Personal Year Nine influence according to this Numerology formula, endings will occur, old loves can re-enter for a “final fling” and loved ones as well as animals may leave. Keep in mind, this is an “ending” vibration. Anything “started” under a Nine influence does not last or needs to be “redone” when Personal Year Number One rolls around. Having said that, the adage “God closes a door but opens a window” is most appropriate.
Do watch your health in September. It is not uncommon for unusual aches and pains to arrive drawing ones’ attention to parts of the body where “stuck” emotional past life trauma memories are being stored and need to be addressed. Work with energy healers such as Reiki Masters to clear these “hanger ones” from your etheric energy fields. They are “cobwebs” of thoughts that are holding you captive like a spider in their web.
This September we have two eclipses. Eclipses are powerful sending out energies three times the emotional energy of a regular New or Full Moon.
September 1 we have a Solar eclipse in Virgo. On September 16 a Lunar eclipse in Pisces will be pulling and tugging at our emotions and lives, requiring letting go and new beginnings.
At the same time, we all move into our Fall Mercury Retrograde. As early as August 10, the slow down could have begun to show in our daily lives. On August 30, Mercury the great communicator spun around energetically and decided to take its nap! Dozing until September 22, this planetary energy then pivoted around again going direct. Now we can breathe a sign of relief. However, continue to be vigilant as Mercury won't be totally out of retrograde influences until October 6. Then Mercury really begins to cruise forward in a positive fashion in our lives and life can again pick up.
The very thought of a Mercury Retrograde makes some folks cringe! Patience is the virtue here. Careful attention to electronics, appliances, contracts, and car issues just might present themselves to you. The blessing here is that your Higher Self is drawing your attention to what needs to be improved upon only to make your life better. Just know, whatever is no longer working for you must be changed or let go…another “door” will be closing for you from the mercy of Mother/Father God and our Higher Selves. Breathe easier as by October 6 the “all clear” bugle sounds for all of us and onward and upward we go.
Through all the twists and turns that September might bring into your life, just know that all is Divine and let’er rip! As Les Brown, the band leader of ole once said “shoot for the moon. Even if you miss it you will land among the stars”.
