Community Happenings – May 2018

Chicago IANDS 20th Anniversary

Saturday, May 12, 2018, 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Chicago IANDS is 20 years old this May!

The first meeting was in May 1998, in the Minister’s office of Unity Church on the North Shore. Five people attended.

Diane Willis had a Near-Death Experience in Spring of 1995. She was told that she was to help people lose their fear of death, but she wasn’t told how she would do that. After her experience, she was connected with her guides on the other side. They began instructing her on what to do to start Chicago IANDS. To this day, Chicago IANDS has the same yellow flyers and contact sheets as they did for the first meeting. The requested donation is also still the same, $20.

The 20th Anniversary will feature great food, a party atmosphere, a special Near-Death speaker, Robin Landsong, who was abducted at age 8 and taken to Rhodesia, as well as some bookstore specials.

CHICAGO INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR NEAR-DEATH STUDIES (Chicago IANDS) is a support and study group for Near-Death Experiences, Out-of-Body Experiences, After-Death Communication, Losses and Research. All are welcome!

Location: North Shore University Evanston Hospital, Frank Auditorium, 2650 Ridge Ave. (& Central), Evanston, IL, 60201.
