Living in Gratitude and Writing After Experiencing Spiritual Synchronicities

This happened to me. I survived a life-changing trauma which led me to becoming more aware of Spiritual Synchronicities, changing my core belief system about life, death, and the Afterlife. During my healing and awareness journey, I found that writing about my STEs has been instrumental in my moving forward to live a blessed life filled with peace, love, and gratitude.

My upbringing and early experiences molded me into a nonbeliever. I was raised without exposure to organized religion. I grew up with the positive core values of honesty and integrity, and I knew in my heart to treat all people with equality and respect. I was an accepting soul who didn’t judge others on the basis of their skin color, ethnic background, sexual orientation, political affiliations, or religious practices. Scientific and evolutionary concepts were incorporated into my belief system, so death was seen as permanent; life on earth appeared very temporary. I knew the difference between right and wrong, good and bad, and was a creative free-thinker who appreciated the earth’s natural wonders and beauty. However, Spirituality, faith, and believing in a Higher Source were not part of my early life lessons.

My youth was spent in a state of constant questioning as I tried to make sense of the concepts and overall purpose of life and death. As I got older, I began questioning and searching deep within my soul for answers on my quest to live a more enlightened life. I had an open mind to others’ viewpoints and beliefs, but had trouble shaking the notion that there must be a higher purpose to our materialistic, tangible, ego-driven existence on earth.

During an ordinary garage sale, I was miraculously guided to embark on an illuminating, positive, and healing journey that opened my eyes to the universe’s love, which ultimately became the impetus to a Spiritual Awakening.

Researchers have documented that miracle knowings and synchronicities often present themselves after a person survives extreme trauma or loss. At this garage sale, I pleaded to an unknown Higher Power for answers to questions about life and death and the meaning of it all. Almost immediately an intense clarity saturated my soul. Engulfed with reassuring and peaceful feelings of pure love, my heart was filled with hope and gratitude. This experience led to a watershed moment which opened me to numerous Spiritually Transformative Encounters where mystical experiences appeared out of nowhere. I embarked on a journey that forever changed my thoughts about our existence on earth.

As I personally began the process of physically shedding the extensive material remains that our family had accumulated, I had a weekend garage sale that changed my life. The signs and synchronicities I experienced (pennies, dragonflies, repeating numbers, cardinals, songs, feathers, electronic interferences, and dream visitations) were life-changing and provided inspiration to write my 2020 Best Books Award-winning and prominently endorsed Spiritual fiction, “God Came to My Garage Sale.”

My heart, soul, and mind were opened up to numerous synchronistically orchestrated mystical experiences which were instrumental in answering the profound lifelong questions we all ask: “What happens when we die?” and “Is there more to this earthly life?” During this revelation, it seemed that our world’s collective consciousness was also simultaneously entering an era of major transformation, a universal shift where numerous people began embracing the concept of a Higher Power as they became increasingly open to Spirituality.

Mystical Spiritual Encounters came out of nowhere and seemed to be uniquely personalized. Pennies found on the ground at random places were dated with my child’s birth year; uniquely colored feathers would appear unexpectedly; red cardinals regularly pecked at the windows when I experienced moments of sadness; developed photographs revealed recognizable faces present inside of light-filled orbs; the repeating numbers 11:11 and my birthdate showed up constantly; cool breezes were felt, immediately followed by visions and silhouettes of Angels; celestial visions materialized and then disappeared into thin air; numerous dragonflies would gather and swirl around me in a dance; my late mother’s favorite songs would play on the radio every time I thought of her; the sweet aroma of my deceased aunt’s perfume would periodically fill the air; and lights would flicker on and off with every mention of a late girlfriend.

These Heavenly events could not be ignored because there were too many to dismiss. I began seeking answers by practicing mindful meditation, attending metaphysical workshops, consulting oracle cards, and devouring anything and everything supernatural to provide insight. Some of the most incredible and compelling moments were the accurate readings from several psychic mediums, as they gave one validating confirmation after another, all filled with precise, detailed, and exclusive information about my deceased loved ones.

These amazing and enlightening experiences opened up my world to the reality that there truly is a guiding Divine presence. Our departed loved ones have not left us and are still very much “alive.” Our Spiritual souls and personalities transition and continue on after our physical death on earth. I now embrace the concepts that there are no coincidences and events are synchronistically orchestrated by Divine intervention. The trials and tribulations experienced on this earthly plane are really karmic lessons that we choose to receive as part of our soul’s contract which we plan and to which we agree before we are born. As a result of my Spiritual Awakening, my soul was saturated with acceptance, forgiveness, love, light, and gratitude. I am fortunate to have been given these experiences and now have an overwhelming sense of purpose. I choose to live a joy-filled life and count my blessings.

I found tremendous joy in processing my experiences through meditation, prayer, and the written word, thus, the author in me was born. Your heart can also be opened to the possibility of experiencing your own transformational Spiritual Awakening. Instead of humans having Spiritual experiences, I believe that we are really Spiritual souls having human experiences.

I was clearly shown that there is more to this life than I had previously believed. The wonders of the universe led me to a place of living in peace and gratitude. Seize life’s challenges as opportunities to reflect and meditate as you search for deeper meanings to make sense of your existence. Be mindful and open your eyes to signs and synchronicities as you become enlightened and grow Spiritually.
