The root cause is that we all live in the past or future in our thoughts—without consciously realizing that both are out of reach and out of our control. Negative thoughts have a destructive effect on our mind, and ultimately they manifest in the form of stress.

Introduction to Qi Gong with Jim Kaminecki April 9th • 2-4pm
Join Qi Gong practitioner, Jim Kaminecki, for this introductory class to Qi Gong. During our two hours, you will be introduced to a level one Qi Gong form, and we will practice it three to five times depending on our progress as a group. We will start the session with a brief warmup, which includes stretching exercises, then provide instruction on foundational techniques you will be using before we begin. All skill levels are welcome. $25/person offering with a maximum number of participants held to 20. Please bring activewear with you to participate: gym shoes, comfortable exercise clothes – sweatpants/shorts; sweatshirt/t-shirt.

ROBIN HODSON World Renowned Trance Medium COMING TO CHERRY VALLEY April 9th through April 12th
Cherry Valley Spiritualist Camp and Spiritualist Chapel in the Woods are pleased and honored to announce that ROBIN HODSON, English Medium, world renowned teacher and trance instructor, will be coming in April.
Robin has served Spiritualist Churches and Centers in his native Britain, America, Canada, Finland, Iceland, Switzerland, Sweden, Lapland and many other countries for 28 years. He is President of the International Spiritualist Federation and Seafordspirit, an independent Spiritualist center. In addition to church and public platform presentations, Robin is an expert tutor in all forms of mediumship; his trance and physical mediumship is sought round the world. His recent mediumship presentation at the NSAC convention in Phoenix exhibited accuracy and specificity on the level of a Van Praagh or Edward.
Robin will be presenting workshops, Sunday Service, and private readings April 9th through April 12th.

Family Constellations Healing Series Facilitated by Candice Wu, LPC, CYT500 April 24th, May 29th, June 26th, July 24th: $395 for four sessions
Through an intimate small group for four weeks, we will share in a Family Constellations healing circle. Constellations can bring peace, freedom, awareness, and resolve to any life difficulties, including trauma, relationships, spirituality, career, money, love, infertility, health issues, mental health issues or imbalance, difficulties in life, grief, body image, shame, confidence, etc.
Family Constellations cuts through the mind’s story and our ideas of ourselves to a deeper, visceral, energetic, and spiritual level. In a compassionate and healing space, we will begin with grounding and tuning into the body, and then constellate two to three personal constellations each session. We will bring awareness, balance, and healing to ourselves and our ancestry, dead or alive.

Conscious Community Magazine together with Spiritual Learning Center to hold Two Harp Meditation Events April 24th & April 30th
Mark Brewer is a professional harpist in the Chicago area who leads harp meditations and recorded the Power Chill cd. A lifelong student of spirituality with a unique talent of “captivating” audiences, Brewer brings the healing properties of the harp to people through live meditations. As he plays the harp, an instrument made from natural materials, each string produces a spectrum of overtones that deeply penetrate into the light body to balance the listener, and aid in the healing process.
