Full Moon – February 9, 2020 – Life Gets a Little Easier

Despite the fact that Mercury will go retrograde from Feb. 16 to March 9, the energy is much lighter this month. Saturn inches away from powerful Pluto and we can all breathe a collective sigh of relief. The Leo Full Moon trines Mars in Sagittarius giving energy and optimism for the future. Venus enters Aries bringing in more fire and enthusiasm. There are possibilities all around you. Time to do something fun, creative or playful.

As said before, Mercury goes retrograde on Feb. 16 in Pisces. It’s a good time to reconnect to your spiritual practice. You might be going to church with family or friends or perhaps you’ve taken up a new spiritual exercise like meditation or yoga. Even a walk through a wooded area, where you can connect with nature, would be good now.

Mercury retrograde can bring the usual headaches with technology and vehicles. It’s not recommended to replace your phone or get a new car during Mercury retrograde as the retrograde energy can lead to regrets and second thoughts about choices. On the other hand, Mercury retrograde is a great time to start exercise programs, healthy habits or a study of a new topic.

Also, on Feb. 16, Mars goes into Capricorn and moves towards Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn. This will bring the determination and resolve to whatever you feel needs doing. It will take Mars a month to engage these planets, but you can feel an increase in willpower for the rest of February.

On Feb. 19, the Sun enters Pisces and this is followed by the new moon in Pisces on Feb. 23. This energy dissolves boundaries, letting you expand your world. You can be free from what was holding you back. Release fears and insecurities. Allow the Universe to guide you.

Finally, 2020 is a leap year. You get an extra day—Feb. 29. Use it to do something extraordinary.

Aries
Venus, the planet of love and money, is now in your sign bringing you some extra luck. Let others know your goals and see who can be helpful now. This is also a good time to ask out someone you admire. Mars travels through your house of education for a few more days. This is a good time to look into school programs—especially studying abroad. In the middle of the month, Mars will enter Capricorn and your house of career giving you four weeks of positive job-hunting energy.

Taurus
Uranus continues marching through Taurus bringing you some unexpected opportunities. It’s good to have a list of your goals in mind to help you see doors that are opening. Mars goes into Capricorn on Feb. 16, bringing harmonious romance energy. This could give you a boost in your love life—especially in the bedroom. Towards the end of the month romantic energy continues, but you may find someone jealous around Feb. 28 when Venus squares Pluto.

Gemini
The sun is traveling through the zenith of your chart and you may receive some recognition at your job. Mars in Capricorn may bring you a financial windfall. It would be a good idea to bank any extra money instead of going on a spending spree. A message from a friend from your past puts a smile on your face. It’s good to make this connection again. Changes at work or in your industry become known and may cause you to think about your future with the company. Planning for the future is good now.

Cancer
Your popularity is strong at this time. It’s good to apply for new jobs or take on a leadership role in an organization. Cash flow is a little tight this month, and it’s good to keep an eye on the budget. An invoice that comes may be in error and can be straightened out with some patient phone calls. Relationship energy is highlighted, and if you’re looking for love, you can meet someone new this month. Don’t hide away at home. Go do some new activities and be around people.

Leo
Changes around your work continue. You may be thinking about getting into a new career. It’s good to dust off your resume and start making connections with helpful people. Virgo
This Full Moon brings you an opportunity to exchange some old habits for some new healthy routines. Try things that help you get restful sleep including, perhaps, a new pillow. There is a lot of energy around creativity and fertility after Feb. 16. If you’re looking to add a child (or pet) into your life, now is the time to explore options. New love is possible if you send out your wish to the Universe before you go out on the town. Look for signs to point out the way to meeting someone new.

Libra
You are beloved by friends and family this month. Several people let you know what you mean to them. There are a couple of important phone calls or communication needed. This is best done sooner rather than later. Repairs or changes at home are possible towards the end of the month. There is activity around kids (or younger relatives) and may involve a creative project. Mercury retrograde may bring the opportunity to return to a job you’ve had before.

Scorpio
Some unsettling things are happening with your job now. New orders from management or a new system may bring you some headaches.
