The changing seasons remind me of how style changes. In fashion, you have four seasons, and with each season, there are styles that are “on top” or “hot.” I noticed that this is the same thing that happens with our consciousness, it shifts when you are ready for change. The energy of spring brings you new ideas and clarity wherever you go. You feel like you have a new set of glasses, and you see everything much more clearly than before, as your perception shifts and you change. This happens constantly when you are open and want to be the best version of yourself.
In this April issue, I would like you to put on a new set of glasses and look at your relationships from a different perspective, and check with yourself to make sure you’re not missing anything.
Did you know that when you open up to a relationship you are raising the consciousness of humanity? In her recent article, Igniting Your Intuition, Theresa Puskar writes, “Being in a relationship is my higher self’s commitment to world consciousness. It is not selfish, nor self-serving, but helps the world to heal. As I grow in a relationship, the world does as well.” When I read this quote, I realized that we are all connected and every time our perception shifts on being in relationships, we are evolving as humans.
Another great article that talks about the importance of having conscious relationships, is Alan Cohen’s article, The Holiest Spot on Earth. Alan reminds us that “the fastest route to enlightenment is through elevating our relationships, and choosing love where we once chose fear. When you achieve a healing in a relationship and you replace judgment with forgiveness, you are standing on the holiest spot on earth.”
