Based on Ellen Goldberg’s 40 years of teaching palmistry, this book provides extensive guidance on how to learn about a person’s personality traits through examining their hands. Goldberg and Bergen explain the seven archetypes associated with the mounts of the palm, which reveal the lifestyle, love, marriage preferences, best career choices, strengths, and more about an individual. Also provided in a very user-friendly fashion are the meanings behind each major and minor line in the palm, and explanations about how hand flexibility and skin texture can also relate to a person’s character traits.
 
 
Spiritual Balancing: A Guidebook for Living in the Light, by Diana Burney (North Atlantic Books, $17.95, Paperback)
In this book, Diana Burney provides useful insight for those seeking spiritual growth as they seek to gain and maintain equilibrium in the body, mind, and spirit. Burney shares timeless techniques for psychic protection and spiritual cleansing, and also addresses topics such as spirit interference, possession, and spiritual attachment. She teaches readers helpful healing tools, and tips for self-empowerment that will help them accelerate their spiritual journey.
 
Belly Dance for Health, Happiness and Empowerment, by Christine Hobin (Ayni Books, $27.95, Paperback)
Not only is belly dancing a fun pastime and great exercise, it also helps individuals to increase self-awareness, improve their general well-being, and overcome common health issues. Christine Hobin shares with readers the root causes of illness, and how belly dancing can jump-start the body’s healing processes, and help us live longer lives. She pioneered the belly dance in the UK, and is affectionately described as Mother of the Belly Dance. 
 
Truth and Consequences, by Ralph E. Carlson (iUniverse, $12.95, Paperback)
Feeling challenged to dig deeper into the topics of creationism, intelligent design, and evolution, Ralph Carlson decided to create propositions regarding the existence of God. This poetry book is full of simple poems that are focused on the wholeness of life. Channeling her journey of spiritual growth, Patricia Kampmeier touches on moving through things like illness, aging, loving relationships, and lastly: the spirituality inside of everything.
