The Moon takes about 28 days to complete her orbit through the 12 signs, spending approximately two and a half days in each sign. When we say the Moon is void-of-course, it means the Moon makes no more major aspects to other planets until it leaves the sign it’s in. Perhaps, it reflects the disconnections and miswiring we’ve neglected to notice, which somehow now become apparent in our day-to-day reality. Use this time to pause and observe, without giving too much meaning to things that don’t “work” or seem to go awry. What is reality anyway? This is the second and final Blue Moon of this year. It seems the Universe is playing with the light switches. After no full moon in February, we’ve had extra illumination this month. Perhaps there has been difficulty transmitting important knowledge. Maybe there are too many technological interferences, or maybe old and new minds haven’t found a way to work together. The Sabian symbol for this Libra Full Moon: “A professor peering over his glasses at his students.” We must look beyond our old perspective to connect with the present. We must learn to listen with an open mind, even when the delivery is not in our preferred style. This Blue Moon is inviting us to be more aware of our relationships, and to appreciate both sides and our interconnectedness. We can truly cooperate and co-create, equally giving and receiving, creating balance and harmony, integrating the wisdom of past and present.
