Overview:
August is definitely a month for the books. There are record-breaking Kites that would have even the most skeptical of individuals believing that it’s a miracle. There are no less than four Kites that visit us this month. As a reminder, Kites help you leverage stress to redirect the energy into positive outcomes. Think of it this way; a gust of wind could make you feel unstable, yet as you work with it and understand its stream you’re able to rely on it to move something closer to you, or you closer to something, such as a goal. Mercury goes retrograde this month while Saturn turns direct. There’s no need to fret because as usual Mercury retrograde is only covering old ground so that you can have a fresh perspective when it finally goes direct. Relationships will be a major focus, and how you behave and react within the dynamics of those relationships will have you reevaluating how you react to certain situations. At the end of the month expect some sort of graduation ceremony. Make sure you have your favorite people around you to celebrate. There will be a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse August 7th, and a New Moon Solar Eclipse August 21st providing you with an extra dose of inspiration. Use it wisely.

It’s times like these when you must evaluate life’s little lessons to see where you’ve blindly trusted. The next steps that you take in life should be made with your eyes wide open. The Moon and retrograde Saturn sit in the same seat today, creating a positive aspect to Jupiter in Libra. Understanding emotional security regarding to your relationships is paramount, and can lead to unexpected yet beneficial changes for you and others in your entourage. A lovely Kite forms in the sky today when the Moon, Mercury, Uranus, and Venus meet up. A formation like this lets you know that you can fly above the obstacles in order to achieve the emotional love and security that you seek.

As the Moon makes its way towards a retrograde Pluto it sextiles retrograde Neptune, indicating that you’re willing to place your energies towards the passions that offer you clarity. There’s no doubt that what you love will love you right back, if they’re grounded in truth and integrity.

The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius at 1:10 PM could have you determined to act upon your ideas. When the Sun and Mars are opposite the Moon today they no longer see obstacles. They only see the path forward.

A spotlight is placed on relationships today. If you’d like to better understand how to rebuild them, how to maintain them, and how to grow them, make sure you set healthy boundaries. As the Moon makes its way towards retrograde Neptune it trines Venus, and your intuitive senses should be awakened. Today we have another Kite involving retrograde Uranus, Mars, the Sun, Jupiter, and retrograde Saturn. You may cover old ground today, and although the path looks familiar, it’s not the same. The Moon in Aries forms a second Kite, only this time with Uranus. How lucky are we? You might have passionate and fiery encounters with others today. This could be just the right spark to put relationships back on the right path. Mercury retrograde in Virgo.

The two Kites that formed over the past few days have joined forces. This type of energy elevates your relationships higher and higher taking them up several notches. Your baggage is empty and your conscience is clear. Moon VoC 7:01 AM until 9:39 AM, enters Taurus.
Monday, August 14
Who likes Kites? It’s like the universe is blessing us with uplifting messages, as Mercury becomes the navigator of the Kite. Old messages could have a way of showing up right now, which can give you new insight into an old issue. Don’t let that new insight blow you off course.

As the Moon gets comfortable in its home sign of Cancer, it loosely opposes a retrograde Pluto. The beauty of this vantage point is that the Moon has clear visibility of what is being deconstructed and reconstructed when it comes to love and values.

The Moon Void of Course (VoC) is the time period from when the Moon makes its last aspect in one sign before moving into the next sign. The Moon is the fastest-moving planet, and transitions from one sign into the next every 1-3 days. What that means is that the Moon is constantly in motion, it’s never retrograde, so it’s inevitable that she will connect with “something,” i.e. another planet or transit, until the moment that she doesn’t. During the moments when she doesn’t connect, we call it the Moon Void of Course. When these events occur, the best thing to do is to meditate, sit still, and listen to your higher guidance. Sitting still does not mean to physically sit still, although it can be beneficial.
